SINGAPORE / SINGAPORE
The effects of COVID-19 will be visible everywhere and in different forms. One of the most unique has begun to be seen in Singapore's public spaces. This is a yellow, high-visibility ribbon that allows people to sort themselves in space to maintain social safety distance.
The tape is used in museums, universities, shopping malls, restaurants and many other spaces, so it is ubiquitous. Its installation on the floor or on decorative or furniture elements helps to restore a certain normality, although it completely changes the appearance and decoration of these spaces. The geometric shapes caused by this ribbon that we will most likely see soon here are collected in an Instagram account called @tape_measures.
